Who: Group 1: Grades 7-9 ages 11-15

Group 2: Grades 10-12 ages 16-18

When: Monday nights 6:30-8:30

10 weeks Running From June 1st to August 3rd.

Where: Margaret Greene field, Guelph

How much: 75$, includes a Jersey and A Disc

What: With two hours every monday night, players will be taken through:

Proper warm-up

Fundamental exercises/drills

Teamwork drills

Game

Cool-down

Come out and join us for an awesome season of Utlimate!  Our Goal is to help Juniors (18 & under) to grow and develop through the challenges/obstacles faced on an ultimate field, with a focus on positive reinforcement and fun learning environment.  Guelph Junior Ultimate Players are required to:

Be a Team Player; No one can move while they hold the disc, therefore passing is necessary to score

Referee our own games; Players will be taught the rules of the game so they can self-officiate themselves (which is an integral part of Ultimate) and come to resolutions without the aid of a referee

Have fun; Ultimate is an incredibly fun sport, – lots running, throwing, catching, and scoring. The unique aspect of a disc instead of a ball makes for exciting plays and highlights.

Players will also learn the fundamentals: Similar to other sports, there are fundamentals such as throwing and catching, general defense and offensive strategies. Looking forward to see you all out there!
