FYI – Maverick Tryouts

At GUPA, we’re doing everything we can to keep you up to date on the pulse of the Ultimate scene in our area. In that vein, we’d like you to know about tryouts for the areas highest competing team, Maverick.

2011 will be Maverick’s second year of competition on the Open circuit. We will be looking to build on a solid 2010 where we finished 5th at CUC in Sherbrooke. This year we have our sights set on a top four finish at CUC in Ottawa against the best ultimate teams in Canada.

Tryout times for Maverick 2011 have been announced. We will be looking for players to continue our reputation as a fast, athletic and exciting team in Canadian ultimate.

Dates and times are:

Sunday, May 1, 9am-12pm

Wednesday, May 4, 6pm-8pm

Saturday, May 7, 9am-12pm

Wednesday, May 11, 6pm-8pm

All tryouts are at Kiwanis Park in Waterloo.
