Tier 3 is for new players who want to get a taste for Ultimate, or slightly experienced players who want to improve their game in a non-competitive setting.

Why Play Ultimate with GUPA?

1. We are the only Ultimate Group in Guelph that plays ALL our leagues the way Ultimate was meant to be played.  The official UPA rules (used in touring and international play) are in effect, which means you’ll be playing REAL ultimate.
2. We are the only Ultimate Group in Guelph that plays all our leagues 7 vs 7 (UPA rules).  7 people on the field means slightly larger teams, which means more friends, more strategy (zone defense isn’t possible with 5 vs 5), and less cost to each individual.
3. We are the only Ultimate Group in Guelph that is a grassroots, not for profit organization.  The fees you pay cover the cost of operating leagues and furthering the Spirit of the Game in Guelph and beyond.  Nobody at GUPA makes a penny.  We are simply a group of dedicated volunteers who love Ultimate and want others to experience how great it is.  The fact that there is no profit involved means that you get to play Ultimate for significantly less.
4. GUPA is a community.  Once you start playing GUPA, it will be hard to stop.  With parties, get-togethers, tournaments, clinics, and many opportunities to get involved yourself, you’ll soon find yourself wanting to be a part of things.
